SYDNEY
Australia Day Live is unique, taking place both on land and water, featuring live musical performances choreographed to a flotilla of yachts, jet-skis and fly boarders, with a synchronised pyrotechnics display on the harbour. January 26th from 7.30am.
Everyone is welcome to gather around the harbour foreshores or Circular Quay, or watch it live on ABC TV or iview.

Aus Lights on the River
Aus Lights on the River is is an immersion of light, sound and vision to be held over five spectacular nights in Elder Park/Tarntanya Wama, culminating on 26 January with Food Hub opening at 5:00pm – 11.pm

Australia Day in Scarborough & Bribie Island
The event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, 26 January. Locals and visitors are invited to the beach to enjoy a true-blue Aussie day by the bay. Organisers encourage attendees to bring their friends and family, picnic rugs, and fold-up chairs to relax and soak up the sun while enjoying the festivities. Details see link.
Gatton Historical Village Celebrates Australia Day
Come along and get your Aussie on! Cultural demonstrations and workshops. Live music, Gumboot, paper aeroplane and thong throwing competitions. Free rides and activities for the kids. Food trucks and of course a sausage sizzle.

PERTH
The City of Perth will deliver a full day of family friendly entertainment at Langley Park on Australia Day 2025. An assortment of free and low-cost attractions will run for the duration of the event, culminating with a drone and fireworks spectacular.
Birak Concert is Western Australia’s premier celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. This event will feature an Elders Marquee, local and interstate stage performances, community stalls, workshops and a live radio broadcast. There will also be activities to keep the little ones entertained, including face painting, colouring and crafting and giant inflatables.
CANBERRA

Join us in one of two hubs at Commonwealth Place and Regatta Point to witness this 3D spectacle.
Two drone skyshows at 9pm and 10pm.
Australia Day at Regatta Point
Follwing the Flag Raising Ceremony at Lake Burley Griffin (8.45am-10.30am) there will be free public events that includes a BBQ, live music, roving entertainment, family-friendly lawn games and face painting for the kids. Commonwealth Park, 10.30am-2.30pm. See link.
