Sow ‘n Grow fundraiser combines a passion for gardening and sustainability

Australian eco-business Sow ‘n Sow has launched Sow ‘n Grow, a sustainable fundraiser aimed at helping schools, charities, community groups, and individuals raise funds while minimizing their impact on the planet. Participants in the Sow ‘n Grow fundraiser have the opportunity to sell Sow ‘n Sow’s popular product, the Gift of Seeds, to support their cause or project.

The Gift of Seeds is a unique combination of a greeting card and a packet of seeds, making it a gift that grows. Each pack is made in Australia using 100% recycled materials and includes seeds, a tearaway plant label for marking seed placements, and an envelope for gifting or mailing. Michelle Brady, the founder of Sow ‘n Sow, explains that organizations can purchase and sell a range of Gift of Seeds within their communities and networks throughout the year. These products can be sold to friends and family, placed on counters, or offered at fundraising events like fetes and fairs.

One of the highlights of this fundraiser is its sustainability. The Gift of Seeds is entirely plastic-free and 100% recyclable or compostable. Additionally, growing seeds benefits the environment, and gardening promotes good health at any age.

To participate in the Sow ‘n Grow fundraiser, a minimum order of 25 packs is required, costing $100. Each pack generates a $5 profit, allowing individuals and organizations to raise more money as they sell more Gift of Seeds. For instance, selling 25 packs results in a $125 profit, while selling 300 packs generates a profit of $1500.

The fundraiser is open to any registered charity, school, early learning center, community group, or organization that intends to use the funds for a project benefiting the community or a charity. Sow ‘n Sow provides a variety of display stands and promotional materials to assist organizations in promoting their fundraiser.

With over 11 years of experience, Sow ‘n Sow prides itself on producing environmentally friendly products made in Australia. All items are meticulously assembled by hand in their studio in Maleny, Queensland.
