13 Dec Christmas Tree Spinach Bread Sticks

Great idea for Christmas holiday entertaining and easy to make too!

Ingredients

340 g frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry

170 g cream cheese. Softened

2 garlic cloves minced

½ tsp salt

½ tsp onion powder

¼ tsp pepper

¼ tsp chilli powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ cup grated parmesan

1 cup mozzarella cheese

Fresh pizza dough (for thin crust)

2 tblsp butter

½ tsp each garlic salt + Italian seasoning

Method

Preheat oven to 200°C.

In a bowl beat together the spinach and cream cheese. Add garlic, salt, onion powder, pepper, chili powder, Italian seasoning and beat until combined. Add parmesan cheese and ½ cup cheddar cheese beat until combined.

Bake about 22 minutes until golden brown on top and cooked through on the bottom. Melt butter and stir in garlic salt and seasoning, brush over breadsticks. Serve warm
