26 Apr Hoisin And Sweet Chilli Chicken
Here’s a deep-flavoured chicken dish to please the peckish, writes Heidi Rozitis.
This was a hit in our house – tasty, but not too spicy. The noodles and vegies made it a well-rounded, filling meal, and it’s also very simple and fuss-free.
Preparation And Cooking Time: 20 minutes’ preparation and cooking, plus three hours’ refrigeration.
4 chicken-thigh fillets, halved
⅓ cup hoisin sauce
2 tbs sweet chilli sauce
1 garlic clove, crushed
Combine chicken, hoisin sauce, sweet chilli sauce and garlic in a medium bowl. Cover and refrigerate for three hours or overnight.
Cook chicken on an oiled, heated chargrill or barbecue plate until browned and cooked through.
Serve with hokkien noodles and stir-fried vegetables.
