Lilo & Stitch (Disney)
Rated PG
Sci-Fi, comedy, action adventure
Running time: 1h 48m
The remake movie is almost like the original. It has updated the story of the bond formed between a lonely Hawaiian girl named Lilo, who befriends a runaway dog-like alien named Stitch, who tries to help Lilo mend her broken family. Pursuing aliens, social workers and the idea of the bond of family figure into the proceedings. The film does feel slow in parts, and younger or more energetic children may struggle to sit through it. Good for a rainy day.
