General Comments:
Trinity Grammar School provides a thoroughly Christian education for boys. Since its inception, the Christian faith has been proclaimed in the School community and reflected in the life of the School, underpinning everything we do.
As a consequence of this Christian foundation, our School prioritises relationships and community.
Specifically, we prioritise respect and humility in relationships; building a community in which people belong and to which they will contribute.
The primary activity of a school community is education. At Trinity, that is education of the mind, the body and the spirit. A Trinity education is broad, encompassing the whole boy, not just his academics. Our breadth in education enables our students to expand their horizons and explore new possibilities.
It follows that a Trinity education is challenging. It requires boys to strive and persevere and be courageous. We have high expectations of our students, believing that there is more in them than they know.
At the same time, we prioritise support of our students. The journey from childhood through adolescence to adulthood is not easy, and each boy has unique needs and challenges. They don’t face these alone. Their School is on their side.
Through challenge and support, our focus is on growth. We do celebrate excellence in every field, and Trinity boys frequently rise to the highest of standards, but growth is the more important lens through which we look. We wholeheartedly believe that every boy can grow.
Ultimately, our goal is the formation of character. Our world needs men who are decent and trustworthy, and our School aims to play our role in shaping them. The true value of a Trinity education is seen in the character of our men in the years long after their graduation.
Trinity employs highly specialised and passionate educators who mentor and guide each student to make learning engaging and stimulating. Students are well supported, challenged and encouraged to continually improve, at whatever age or stage.
Trinity has qualification pathways to the IB Diploma, HSC, or vocational education and also offers unparalleled music, creative arts and sports programmes in its co-curricular offerings. Trinity is one of only nine schools globally to be accredited as a World Academy of Sport Athlete Friendly Education Centre.
